The Mingus Big Band returns for their weekly residency, playing the music of Jazz legend Charles Mingus. Through the years, this band has been performing live at Jazz Standard under the direction of Sue Mingus, Charles' widow.  Some of the great musicians of NYC and beyond have been a part of the band, including Jeff "Tain" Watts, Chris Potter, Helen Sung, and many more.
