Shows at 7:30pm & 9:30pm nightly:

Over the past two decades, Teaneck, New Jersey native Freddie Hendrix has worked his way steadily upward to achieve his current position as a first–call musician – whether it be as a jazz soloist, lead trumpeter, or section player within a big band. His creativity as a forward–thinking soloist has been displayed with saxophonist Oliver Lake’s Organ Quartet; his sectional skills have been honed by repeated stints with the Count Basie Orchestra and with on Alicia Keys’ 2008 “As I Am” world tour, performing 105 shows in over 30 countries. A stylistic amalgam of such great trumpeters such as Freddie Hubbard and Clifford Brown, on the bandstand Freddie Hendrix is a charismatic personality commanding a full–toned phrasing and sense of swing. This Jazz Standard one–nighter celebrates Hendrix’s new album, Jersey Cat, featuring his soulful renditions of the standards “Invitation” and “You Don't Know What Love Is” along with such sturdy originals as “The Journey Man,” “Whims Of A Waltz,” and “Madeira Nights.”
