Among the most in–demand drummers of his generation, Eric Harland has performed and recorded with such legends as Betty Carter, Joe Henderson, Charles Lloyd, and Wayne Shorter; and has been nominated for GRAMMY Awards for his playing on albums by Terence Blanchard (Wandering Moon), Joshua Redman (Back East), and McCoy Tyner (Land of Giants). As a leader, Eric has released two albums, Voyager: Live by Night (2010) and Vipassana (2014). This week, Jazz Standard presents this great musician with four exceptional groups and special guests by the handful.

Tonight, Eric joins forces with bassist Alan Hampton and a secret Grammy award-winning pianist for a night of cutting-edge music bridging the gap between neo-soul and jazz.
